RISEnergy Kick off meeting

One of the EU's goals is to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. On the way there, the RISEnergy (Research Infrastructure Services for Renewable Energy) project aims to accelerate the development of innovations for the use of renewable energy sources and the commercialisation of the corresponding technologies. The main aim is to facilitate access for researchers and companies to research infrastructures in European and non-European countries. The project, coordinated by the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), will start on 1 March 2024. RISEnergy is being funded by the European Commission with around 14.5 million euros for a period of four and a half years.

On the first day of the kick-off meeting, the research infrastructures that have been set up as part of the project will be presented. The second day is dedicated to the general objectives of RISEnergy and the discussion of how they will be achieved. Detailed information can be found in the attached agenda.
