LowTempLab of Agencia Estatal Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) allows magnetic and electric characterisation of materials between 2K and 400K by using AC DC and vibrating technologies by means of two last generation SQUID magnetometers and PPMS configurable systems up to 9T. The set includes a Magnet for 16T, Hall mapping and Mechanical strain measurement.
State of the art: Multi-purpose Infrastructure for a wide temperature range measurement of electrical, magnetic and mechanical properties with DIC measurement of the strain including surface resistance at high frequency and analysis of current distribution in superconducting within magnetic fields up to 9T and 16T.
Services currently offered by the infrastructure: The installation is offered for SQUID measurements of general magnetic materials and PPMS systems including Hall, resistivity , surface resistance in GHz range. The Facilities are open for external users with previous agreement. Also modelling capacities are available for direct and inverse problem solving.
